Hi, my name is Cody, I am a two-year-old mutt (that must be a good thing - Mom smiles when she says it!) - they think I am probably a collie/chow/shepherd mix. I love to chase after my slow-poke buddy Remi, play with socks, sit ON your lap (all 70 lbs of me) and I give the best kisses! We live in Newnan, Georgia. I found my new house one day while I was wandering around lost and scared. Mom wasn't sure if she could handle another dog. as Remi was such a handful ... but I just turned on the charm and I was in their house the next night! I am so happy here! I have a huuuge backyard, and a dumb yellow lab to keep me company when Mom and Dad are gone, and TOYS! I wish every stray dog could find such a good home like I did!

Dog of The Day-4-7-2020

   Samantha is an eleven-year-old Springer Spaniel.  I adopted her at the age of three when her family lost their son, who was Sams companion and friend.  She was not happy at home alone and so she came to live with me and my two other dogs.  She is deaf now, but it doesn't seem to handicap her any.  Sam always joins in the pool when someone comes over for a swim.   

     We live in Illinois, so she swims all summer and is a couch potato all winter.  Sam demands attention and refuses to be ignored.  She is a devoted companion and is very loving and affectionate.  Her best friend is Daisy, my Brittany Spaniel. Here she is posing by the tree at Christmas, she knows she is a good girl so Santa will be good to her every year.
