Today's Dog-3-5-2016


Name:	Rylee Isaac	Age:	Three years old
Gender:	Male	Breed:	Dapple Dachshund
Home:	Indiana, USA
We adopted Rylee through Homeward Bound Animal Welfare group on December 30. He is three years old and very loving. Rylee has a lot of energy. He loves to run and play. His favorite activity is annoying his big sister, Sophie (a long-haired red dachshund). He'll snatch Sophie's toy and start running. They run in circles with Sophie chasing him. He'll grab her toy and run and the chase is on. He is also very good at snatching a toy off the floor without slowing down and continuing the chase. I've decided he'd do great in a doggie relay race. Rylee watches television with us. He goes crazy barking and jumping at the TV when he sees any animals. He will stand up on his hind legs and watch until the animals are gone. Rylee has a dog bed but prefers to sleep with his blanket on my daughter's bed. He burrows underneath it and goes to sleep. He'll also nap on the top of the sofa or in between the pillows on the bed. Rylee's favorite treat is a Pup Cup from Sonic. One of his bad habits is snatching tissues out of the box and tearing them to shreds. He loves romping in the snow, cuddling under his blankie, and his mama. Love & Hugs,Angel

   Introducing Riana Cupcake Coco. Little Riana rescued me from the depth of depression after the tragic death of my beloved Coco. Coco accidentally got outside and was hit by a car right in front of our house. I really thought my world had ended, but I knew, even in the depths of my despair, I needed a new sweet dog to help me recover.  

     I knew Coco had taught me to love, more than everything else she taught me in life. Teaching me to love unconditionaly was her greatest lesson. Riana has been my Godsend. She is with me each and every day. She gives me hope and joy and sweetness. Most importantly, she fills my life with love. In no way does she replace Coco, she just continues her legacy of love and joy.

Age:Thirteen years old

   My name is Catrina and this is my dog Buddy. Buddy is so, so sweet. He likes to have his ears rubbed. Although he is old now, he still enjoys when I take him for walks, rides in the car and fetching the ball from the water at the beach. Buddy gets along with all types of animals, such as cats, lizards and our pet rats. He has two younger siblings, names Hershey and Penny who get very excited when Buddy wrestles with them. 

     Since Buddy is the eldest, we give him the honor of being first fed and usually the first to be walked and the best seat in the car during long car rides. Buddy also enjoys warm comfortable places to sleep so we have dog beds in most rooms he goes into. I love Buddy very very much.
